Sedric AI reviews every interaction and marketing asset against your rules and tells you what went wrong and what went right. Your job is to validate that work. This article sums up what to click in each situation you'll meet, and what happens next. The illustrated reviewer guide (PDF) shows every button and step with screenshots.
Start with review
Open an interaction or asset and go to the Scorecard tab (Review on marketing assets). Open a rule, check its result (Fail or Pass) and read each AI finding: the reason, the fix suggestion and the references marked on the content. Then pick the one action that fits.
Which button, when
Situation | What to click | What happens |
The finding is right as it is | Nothing. Move on to the next finding. | The AI result stands. |
It's right, but could be better | Edit, change the reason, fix suggestion or references, then Save. | The finding shows Changed and "Edited by". The result doesn't change. |
Right evidence, wrong result | Dismiss the finding, then record the right result: Mark this rule as passed (or failed), or Add a finding to keep the evidence. | The rule takes the new result and shows Changed. The new finding reads "Added manually by". |
Wrong evidence | Dismiss, add a short reason, then confirm with Dismiss. | The finding is marked Dismissed and stays in the audit trail. Restore brings it back. |
Sedric missed something | + Add finding, mark the spot on the content, choose Fail or Pass, then Add finding. | A new finding reads "Added manually by". A Fail finding fails the rule. |
The rule doesn't apply here | Applicable, then choose Not applicable. | The rule moves to Not applicable and shows Changed. |
Step by step
The finding is right, but you want to change the fix suggestion
On the finding, click Edit. The Edit finding window opens with the rule and result at the top.
Change the Fix suggestion (or the Reason).
Optional: highlight more text on the content to add a reference (it's labelled New), or click × to remove one.
Click Save.
The evidence is right, but the result is wrong
Sedric picked the right content but drew the wrong conclusion. For example, it failed a call to action, but the disclaimer beside it makes it a Pass.
On the finding, click Dismiss. Add a reason if you like, then click Dismiss to confirm.
If the rule has no active findings left, record the right result: click Mark this rule as passed. To keep the evidence, choose Add a finding instead, mark the spot and pick Pass.
The rule now shows Pass and Changed. The dismissed finding stays listed with Show and Restore.
If the rule still has other findings, its result is recalculated from them, and step 2 may not be needed.
The evidence is wrong
The content Sedric relies on doesn't support the finding: the quoted text says something else, or it's the wrong spot.
Compare the reason with the references.
Click Dismiss and add a reason. It's optional, but it improves AI analysis of similar cases.
Click Dismiss to confirm. If no findings are left, record the result with Mark this rule as passed.
Sedric missed something
On the rule, click + Add finding. Marking mode starts right away.
Mark the evidence: highlight text in a transcript, or select an area on an image. Each mark becomes a numbered reference.
Choose Fail or Pass.
Optionally add a reason and fix suggestion, then click Add finding.
Good to know
Only the result is required. Reason, fix suggestion and references are optional. Filling them in improves the review audit and future AI analysis.
Nothing is lost. A dismissed finding stays in the audit trail, marked as dismissed, and can be restored.
Every change is visible. Rules and findings you change show Changed, with who made the change and when.
Optional setting: result switching
By default, the result in the Edit window is read-only. With result switching on, you can flip a finding from Fail to Pass (or back) and keep its content as a starting point, instead of dismissing it and adding a new one. It's off by default because the AI wrote the reason, fix suggestion and references for the original result, so they usually need updating after a switch. You'll also be asked why you changed the result. To turn it on, contact your customer success representative.
