Accessing Date Format Settings

To access the date format settings for your organization, follow these steps:

  1. Login as admin user

  2. Open the settings page.

  3. Click on the ORGANIZATION tab.

  4. Scroll to the Date Format section.

Configuring Date Format

In the "Date Format" section, you will find options to customize the display of dates. The following parameters can be adjusted:

  1. AM/PM - Choose between 12-hour (with AM/PM) or 24-hour time format. Selecting the 12-hour format will display times as "hh:mm AM/PM.”

  2. Long Date - Use this format in the date range filters, interaction creation date, dates on Operational Dashboard charts, etc.

  3. Short Date - Use this format in the tasks list, transcriptions for SMS and email interactions, etc.

Q1: Will changing the date format affect existing data in the system?

  • No, changing the date format only affects how dates are displayed, not the underlying data.

Q2: What date format options are available?

  • The available date format options may include various combinations of day (DD), month (MM), year (YYYY), as well as separators like dashes (-), slashes (/), or dots (.).

Q3: Can I set a custom date format?

  • A: Yes, most systems allow for custom date formats using specific placeholders (e.g., D for day, M for month, Y for year) to create a personalized date display.

Q4: Can I reset set a custom date format to default date format?

  • A: Yes, You just need to click on “RESET TO DEFAULT” button in the footer of the Date Format section.

Q5: Will this change affect other users in the organization?

  • Yes, changing the date format in the admin settings will apply the chosen format universally across the organization for all users.
