Most reviews involve more than one person. A reviewer needs a second opinion on a claim, a compliance officer needs the marketing team to change a line, someone needs to explain why a result was overturned.
Comments keep that conversation on the item itself, so the discussion, the content and the analysis all sit in one place — and so anyone who picks the item up later can see how the decision was reached.
Where comments live
You can comment in two places, and they serve different purposes:
On the item — open the Comments tab in the analysis panel. Use this for anything about the item as a whole: whether it's ready to approve, what needs to change before it goes live, who should look at it next. The number beside the tab tells you how many comments are on the item.
On a specific finding — inside an opened rule, each finding has its own Add comment. Use this when your point is about that particular piece of evidence rather than the item generally.
Adding a comment
Open the Comments tab.
Write your comment in the box at the bottom of the panel.
Tag the colleague you need — they'll receive an email notification, so you don't have to chase them separately.
Attach an image if it helps make the point.
Select Send.
Every comment is stamped with who wrote it and when.
Comments and versions
Content changes during review, and comments are tied to the version they were written on. That means a comment asking for a claim to be reworded stays attached to the version that contained the claim — you can see what was said about each version, rather than one undifferentiated thread.
Resolving a comment
When a comment has been dealt with, resolve it. It disappears from the active conversation so the thread only shows what still needs attention.
Nothing is deleted — use Show resolved to bring resolved comments back into the feed whenever you need the full history, for an audit or for a colleague picking the item up later.
Getting the most out of it
Tag someone, don't just write. An untagged comment is easy to miss; a tagged one sends an email.
Comment on the finding when your point is about the finding. It keeps the general thread readable and puts your question right beside the evidence it's about.
Say what you want to happen. "Can we reword this claim before Friday?" moves faster than "this looks risky."
Resolve as you go. An item arriving with three open comments tells the next person exactly what's outstanding.
Keep decisions here rather than in email. Anything discussed in the platform stays with the item; anything discussed elsewhere has to be reconstructed later.
Comments are visible to the people in your organization who have access to the item.
